Jurijs Tatarkins is a Latvian artist and author with a background in fine arts and animation. He has been published in comics magazines such as Kuš! and Kuti, and is currently working on his first comic book.

He is also a part of Sābrs, a zine and small press festival founded in 2022 in Riga.
