Born in Znojmo, a town in the southern region of the Czech Republic, Jindřich obtained his Bachelor’s degree in animation from Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
Then he pursued a Master’s degree in illustration at the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague. For the past decade, he dedicated himself to illustration as a full time job.

Jindřich is also a co-founder of the independent publishing house, Take Take Take, a venture he shares with his wife, Nikola, a graphic designer.
