Giulia Cellino, also known as Ritardo, was born in 1994 and started her artistic journey by studying comics and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. Since 2015, she’s been self-producing her projects and showcasing her work at exhibitions and festivals across Italy and abroad. Giulia’s creations, which intertwine drawing and writing, draw inspiration from the experiences of everyday life.

In 2022, she became an author of the comics collective project “Povere Puttane”. Her evocative short stories and illustrations have found homes in prestigious publications such as Linus, D-La Repubblica, and Domani Editoriale. Notably, her work “Ha senso” was featured in the 2020 anthology volume “Sporchi e Subito”, curated by Fumettibrutti and published by Feltrinelli Comics.
Following a transformative year in Lisbon, Giulia has returned to Italy, where she currently resides and works in the publishing industry.
